The first patch for the expansion has been released. A nice surprise that I think most did not see coming already, considering there have been nothing said about it.
Higher level quest experience has been adjusted. Scholar nodes in Dunland has been reduced. A number of general fixes have been made. Almost every class has received some adjustement, some more than others.

A few changes to note:

• Players should no longer fall through the platforms in The Pit of Iron.
• Dunland deeds for quest completion have been fixed! They no longer require the completion of phantom content, and should update for anyone who has completed the majority of a zone's quests.
• Fixed a possible client crash when using Lua plugins that interacted with items.
• The tooltip for Will has been updated to display the correct stat increases.

NEEDHAM, MA – APRIL 26, 2011 -- Turbine announced today that it will be expanding its global operations and will assume full control of The Lord of the Rings Online™ (LOTRO) in Europe beginning June 1, 2011. As part of this transition, Codemasters Online will continue to operate the European LOTRO service until June 1st when the existing European players will begin the migration to Turbine’s global service.
